For the M.S.
The program requires the completion of 30 semester hours of credit for both thesis and non-thesis options. The thesis option requires at least 6 credits of research or project work. In addition to civil and environmental engineering courses, students also may take courses relevant to their major area from other departments. Students who do not have the appropriate undergraduate background for the graduate courses in their program may be required to supplement the 30 semester hours with additional undergraduate studies.
